Open Studio: Allison Moore

The public is invited to come by Allison Moore’s Open Space studio and witness her process Friday, July 19, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Using the Open Space gallery as a studio space, Moore will plot out her visual research and storyboard for next summer’s media event. Inspired by the architecture and symbolism of lighthouses and their history in coastal communities, the project will include the gathering of video material of clouds, the tides, moon cycles, starry constellations, and underwater marine life to ultimately project on the lighthouse.
