Description

Opioid overdoses don’t just happen “somewhere else.” They happen in our neighborhoods, workplaces, and homes — to friends, family, coworkers, and even strangers. In a critical moment, you could be the one who saves a life.

Join us on Friday, March 6 for a free, 2-hour Narcan Training Workshop led by AVI Health and Community Services.

In this practical, hands-on session, you will:

  • Learn the risk factors and warning signs of opioid overdose
  • Recognize and respond to opioids and benzodiazepine overdoses
  • Gain confidence using Naloxone (Narcan) through guided demonstrations
  • Ask questions in a supportive, judgment-free environment

This training is designed for everyone — no medical background required. Whether you want to be prepared for your workplace, your community, or your loved ones, this workshop will give you the knowledge and confidence to act.

All participants will receive a free Narcan kit to take home.
