IMAA Fee Schedule Workshop

Independent Media Arts Alliance (IMAA)'s National Director Barbora Racevičiūtė provided two workshops on the media arts fee schedule . The first one was hosted by Open Space in Victoria on November 18, and the other one by VIVO Media Arts Center in Vancouver on November 20.

The IMAA Fee Schedule establishes minimum remuneration rates for artist and professional work in the Media Arts sector. It is a widely recognized national fee structure for the presentation of independent time-based media. It ensures artists are paid for their work. The 2025 Fee Schedule aims to bring the recommended fees into line with the rising cost of living and inflation, as well as to ensure adequate remuneration for artists and support better funding for the Media Arts.
