- From February 21-March 28, Open Space presents a new show from Vancouver-based artist-educator Chantal Gibson. Wielding black ink, black paint, and black liquid rubber, the work turns towards contested objects to edit, redact, and transform them, offering a visually poetic response to the questions “What does it mean to decolonize a text? And what does it really mean to confront Empire?” Opening: Friday, February 21, 7-9pm.
