- In 2019, Open Space presents Blanketing by Jesse Campbell, the second annual installation in the stairwell to the gallery. Jesse is a Métis/Cree mural artist based in Victoria who has been involved in Open Space for many years in various capacities, starting as an emerging artist with the Indigenous Youth Artist Program (IYAP). He also, with assistance from technician Miles Giesbrecht, carried out the painting of Garry Neill Kennedy's Corrections last year. We are thrilled to get to continue to work with Jesse and to share his work with everyone who comes through the gallery in 2019.
