Pioneer of the local food movement and co-author with Alisa Smith of The 100- Mile Diet, J.B. MacKinnon will be reading as part of Open Word: Readings and Ideas, a literary series hosted by Open Space in partnership with the University of Victoria Department of Writing.
McKinnon will read at the University of Victoria on Monday, October 17 at 2:30 p.m. in the Human and Social Development Building (HSD), Room A240. His reading at Open Space will take place on Tuesday, October 18 at 7:30 p.m. A final talk with the writer at the University of Victoria will occur Wednesday, October 19 at 9:30 a.m. in the MacLaurin Building (MAC), Room D281.
