Call for Scores 

for flute alone or flute with electronics

Deadline: September 25, 5 p.m. PST

Performance: October 16, 2015

Open Space and flautist Mark McGregor are seeking scores by composers from Victoria and surrounding areas to be included on a concert at Open Space on October 16, 2015.

The works may be scored for flute, piccolo, alto, or bass flute. Scores may also include an electronic or tape component. Open Space will provide speakers for stereo playback.

Composers interested in submitting multichannel works or works that incorporate other media should contact Open Space well in advance of the deadline. Both previously performed and unperformed works will be considered.

Composers whose works are selected to be included on this program will receive a live recording of the work from the concert as well as a small honorarium.

Submissions should include:

-completed scores/parts

-technical information/files/recordings for electronic components (if applicable)

-your name and contact information

-links to download any files too large to send in an email (if applicable)

For works that have already been performed composers are also encouraged to also include a recording if one is available.
