- On Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. Open Space and the Blue Moss Ensemble will present a concert of new music by Canadian composers for flute, harp, and viola as performed by Vancouver’s Onyx Trio. This concert will include new works by Emilie LeBel, Mitch Renaud, and Anna Höstman to name a few, as well as, a new commission by Vancouver’s Giorgio Magnanensi. Giorgio Magnanensi thinks and plays with sound in assemblages without centre where as Mitch Renaud constructs events that open the assertion: “it is sound & a startled sense of what is, tis.” This concert will also play host to the premiere of Emilie LeBel’s Still life for dust, with birds
