- Description
- The Gifts from Our Ancestors group exhibition, opening on Friday, March 7, 7:00 p.m., presents works by seven emerging Indigenous artists from the Victoria area alongside several of their mentors. The exhibition follows the teachings of Indigenous pedagogies, in which knowledge is passed down experientially across the generations. As such, emphasis is placed on inhabiting the gallery as a space of learning and doing, with several of the artistic works unfolded over the course of the exhibition and the preceding student workshops.Bradley Dick, Sarah Hunt, Amanda Laliberte, Peter Morin, Bonnie Quaite, Jesse Campbell, Brianna Dick, Josh Goodwill, Tonya Isaac, Keilah Lukenbill-Williams, Sacha Ouellet, Owen Parnell, and more
