Description
To celebrate its tenth year since its inception, Audiospace 10 is doing something completely different: it is leaping out of the digital and into the physical. Audiospace 10 is a new single-serving exhibition space dedicated
to sound located at Open Space Art Society’s exhibition space in Victoria, BC, Canada. This new space is a physical manifestation, with some tweaks and adjustments, of the online program of the same name now celebrating its tenth year. “Audiospace was developed when it was novel to have audio on the Internet. For the tenth year of this biennial program, we wanted to find a way to reinvigorate the exploration of digital sound. Bringing a digital program into the physical seemed like the most innovative solution,” said New Music Coordinator Christopher Reiche. The task of curating this new platform was given to Victoria’s Paul Walde, who gave this exhibition the title Not All There.Audio Lodge (London, Ontario), Dave Dyment (Toronto), Jean Routhier (Vancouver), Tina Pearson (Victoria), Charles Stankievech (Berlin)
