SALT 2013 New Music Festival and Symposium

Both Open Space and the University of Victoria School of Music will be venues for the SALT New Music Festival and Symposium, a week's worth of free concerts, lectures, colloquia, and masterclasses beginning May 25 at 8pm with the Quasar Saxophone Quartet (Montreal, QC). The event's hosts, The Tsilumos Ensemble, have invited international innovators and experts in contemporary and electronic music to Victoria to invigorate the way audiences perceive these genres.
