Description
Large-scale wall drawings explore the possibilities of the contemporary practice, performance and the idea of drawing.
Over the next two months Wendy Hough (Vancouver, BC) will be participating in a production residency and gallery exhibition creating a new work in an ongoing series of large-scale Wall Drawings. From April 23 - May 16, Hough will be onsite developing the work for presentation at a public reception on Friday, May 17, 7:30 pm.
This new work is part of an ongoing series of interdisciplinary projects that Hough describes as an exploration of public performance and audience engagement. The drawing will remain on display until June 11, when the artist will return to Victoria to wash away the drawing as part of the overall process.
