- Description
- Erik Volet and Mikhail Miller have established a continuing collaborative practice rooted in street art and mural making. Spirit of Mucus is an original wall mural painted directly onto Open Space’s front foyer wall. The artists’ combined projects imbed themselves through communicative links rooted in natural affinities—artistic, as well as spiritual and political. In 2011 they organized a live painting performance at the Ministry of Casual Living in Victoria, and in 2012 they worked together on several mural projects in Oaxaca, Mexico.
