- Open Word: Readings and Ideas literary series continues with a reading and interview with Vancouver Island’s Matt Rader. He will be reading from his new book A Doctor Rode Her Bicycle Up the River Arno at Open Space on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. followed by an interview with Kyeren Regehr. A second public reading is scheduled at the Univeristy of Victoria, Fine Arts Building Room 203 on Wednesday, October 10, at 10:30 a.m. Open Word: Readings and Ideas is co-sponsored with the University of Victoria’s Department of Writing.
