- Composer Jordan Nobles (Vancouver) will lead a workshop on the composition and performance of spatial music on November 20 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m Spatial music refers to music where the positioning of the musicians as well as the architecture of the performance space play an integral role in the composition and performance of a piece. In this workshop Nobles will focus on the techniques involved in composing and performing spatial music, including the coordination of musicians, the role of dynamics and articulation, site-specificity, and the challenges that musicians face when performing spatial works
