Join us for the Opening Reception on Friday July 23 at 7:30 p.m. There wll be an Artist Talk on Saturday July 24 at 2 p.m. The term pulse interval refers to the gap or interval between regular or intermittent signal waveforms such as the sounds made by bats as they navigate the night sky. The exhibition Pulse Interval proposes that technology and human movement act as navigational aides in forming an interiorized local knowledge of place or identity. The artists in this exhibition investigate the nuances of how we mobilize habits of movement, technology, and data to navigate and inhabit our geographic, psychosocial and political locales.
