Two Installations: Angel Island/Like a Plague of Locusts: Sharon Yuen. Based on the Race and the Body Politic theme of her 1992 Banff residency, the installations raise issues of cultural difference, social, political, econonmic, psychological discrimination and dislocation of home.
Artist's Statement:
"History and life continue to engage my art. Self-identity as a chinese-canadian, personal memory and early immigrant history permeate."
